« Dragon Hunt » - Children workshops during school holidays

Did you know? For years, a dragon has been asleep under the castle of Meung… Now he is waking up… Where is he?! It’s up to you to find him!

Starts at 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM

Costumed animation for children from 5 to 12 – duration 45mn – no reservations necessary – indoor tour – tour of the castle included.

  • Winter Holidays : from February 15th to March 1st.
  • Spring Holidays : from April 14th to April 26th.

History tastes good ! The castle of Meung proves it with historical treats!

At 3 PM, a talk led by Dr. Marie De Rasse followed by a tasting of two exclusive teas created for the castle by Les Cafés Jeanne d’Arc. Those teas are like the castle’s two faces. One is a black tea, inspired by the medieval side. The other is a red tea, inspired by the 18th century side.


« Easter Egg Hunt »

From April 11th to April 13th from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Celebrate Easter with your family: enjoy the “easter farm” (Saturday and Sunday only), bottle-feed the lambs, enjoy ancient games and have an Easter egg hunt in the castle’s park (from Saturday to Monday).

Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Sedan’s battle at the castle: the Archeological Society of Meung invites you to step back in time at a military camp. Come and discover the life of a soldier during the reign of Napoleon III.
